This mountain, known as Kunanyi / Mt Wellington or simply as ‘The Mountain’, is part of every Hobartian’s daily life: it’s our weathervane and our homing beacon, the backdrop to our city. Tracy’s striking illustration shows the slopes, the exposed dolorite columns known as the “Organ Pipes” and the transmission tower affectionately known as the “Rocket”.
