T.J. Finch is the creative project of Jen’s wife, Tracy Colhoun.
Based in Hobart’s northern suburbs, between the river and the mountain, Tracy creates pottery, draws, paints and designs in her small backyard home studio. A fierce bird and nature lover, Tracy is constantly inspired by our beautiful island home and it’s unique flora and fauna.
Tracy has dabbled in many creative arts for a long time and T.J. Finch is the culmination of these explorations. T.J.Finch was officially born in 2017 when Tracy studied ceramics and bought her very own kiln.
Her pottery pieces are individually hand-crafted, each with their own story to tell and unique characteristics. Tracy values character and uniqueness over polished perfection and as such no two pieces are the same. Because of this, her pottery is sold via Etsy - check out the T.J. Finch Etsy store here.
Jewellery design, enamel pins, keyrings and tote bags (coming soon!) are based on Tracy’s love and fascination with the Tasmanian wilderness. To help protect the land she loves so much, Tracy donates $1 to environmental charities from sales of all jewellery, pins and keyrings. Past recipients of donations include WIRES (after recent bushfires in NSW and Victoria), Bob Brown Foundation, Australian Wildlife Conservancy and Australian Rainforest Alliance.
